Findings

After years of trying to forget and deny my past and cultural roots in search of a new beginning – a transition that accompanied my adolescence and the need to start anew – I am now reclaiming my past. I start the memories I pull from the depths of my consciousness like precious artifacts in an archaeological dig. I dust them off; some are whole, but most are broken and fragmented.
